Tips on Shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary SALE!

Great News! The wait is finally over! Tomorrow everyone gets to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary SALE.

Now I want to start by saying as much as I love this sale and I do shop but we still have to shop this sale smart. We can get all wrapped up in every product that is shown on Instagram or blogs. Lets be Honest on why we love this sale and has taken over every social media platform and the internet. We are hustling women, who love a good sale! I mean I love saving money anytime I can find the chance, I love finding a good deal. If a favorite store tells me I can get free shipping if I spent a certain amount I will do add that extra $20 to get the free shipping. So I get it, we love the sale because we love to save money, it might be in our DNA LOL.

So my  first tip: Be Smart when saving Money!

As much as we want to add that extra $20 to our cart, we need to as ourselves Do we really need that? Give yourself restrictions, allow maybe 1 I don’t care how much it cost but I need to have it item. Allow yourself 1 pair of shoes, 1 pair of jeans and 2 shirts. This way you are going in with a goal.

2. Use the wishlist!

Nordstrom has a great little tool where you can add all the items to the wishlist. Even though you can’t shop the Nordstrom sale now you can still see what is available, so start adding! Do you have the LIKEtoKNOW.it app? Most bloggers and influencers use it to link all their items they show you on Instagram and their blogs. They also have a wishlist feature, so if one of your favorite bloggers (like me) LOL j/k, you can add their items to your wishlist as well.

Like I said earlier everyone is showing you what they have found on the Nordstrom sale. As I can see how bad this is for people that want nothing to do with it, it really is amazing as well. We follow fashion bloggers for a reason. We want to see what kind of clothes they buy, how it fits them, how they look in them and buy them ourselves if we feel we want the clothes. We have to be smart, but we have a great tool in our hands and this can help all of us. Including myself! I love bloggers like Emily Gemma from the Sweetest Thing, and Dede from Dressupbuttercup.

4. Buy Buy Buy and Return

Ok that heading sounds really bad but I didn’t know what else to say. You might like this tip or you might hate it, but BUY everything you think you love and can afford even if your iffy about it. If you don’t like it return it! Nordstrom packages your box with return labels and make it super easy to return an item. For example I bought 2 pairs of jeans but neither one of them fitted me correctly. I knew I was taken a chance, but I will need to return them. I bought 3 pairs of boots not knowing which one I was going to like better and return the ones I don’t, (I’m keeping 2 of them returning 1).

5. Final Tip Have Fun Shopping and Saving

Don’t let it stress you out. Buy what you can don’t buy what you can’t! Use your resources, be smart about shopping and if you don’t like it or change your mind return it.
